Serenity

We had a lovely 24 hour visit from my cousin over the weekend, during which I singularly failed to take any pictures. I wish I had caught some snapshots at least of her and my children sharing stories, games and jigsaws - I guess we'll just have to not leave it too long before the return visit and make up for it then.

After lunch on Sunday Mr G and I took advantage of the unseasonal sunshine to take the kids back up to our favourite lakeside country park. Little G went for a bike ride while his daddy jogged along behind beside, meanwhile Littler G slept. By the time she woke up the boys were back so we all went for a short stroll and spotted a swan and its cygnet mooching about on the lake. Just lovely.
