Menacing skies...

... but at least it stopped raining briefly. It was dry earlier this morning but by the time I wandered around trying to decide what to blip and whether to get the bus out of town or stick near home it was pouring. The last time it was as wet and I tried to take pics the camera eventually stopped working and I had to leave it to dry out; so I thought I'd treat it a bit better and wait until it stopped. Thanks to Mikeh giving me the heads up that the trees at the Blue Mountains had been lopped and the view was once again visible I could nip up the road when we had a short break in the rain. The sky was very menacing but the visibility was great and Jersey was clearly visible along with the closer islands.
