Started the day of with breakfast near the sky tower, before heading down to meet my tour and the people I was going to be spending the next month with.

We set off for Uretiti beach (try saying it without giggling) for lunch over chat and gorgeous views. Our next stop was Paihia for a walk around and to pick up a few supplies before our walk to Haruru Falls (6km through mangroves out to the most amazing view of the falls (blip))

Our camp for the next two nights was besides a river just down the road from the falls.

Great first day, everyone seems lovely, nice small group of 8, plus the guides.
