Brunel's Suspension Bridge celebrates 150 yrs

Thousands of people made their way to the west end of Bristol's 'floating harbour'/Avon gorge to watch the firework display celebrating the 150th anniversary of the opening of Brunel's Clifton Suspension Bridge.

It was really moving to join in a one-minute silence held before the display to remember the death of Bristol mother Charlotte Bevan and her baby daughter earlier this week. So many people have been affected by this tragedy and it has highlighted yet again our need for better mental health care
