Quiet Time

Today is St George's Day, so I was sure the flag of our patron saint would be flying proudly from church tower up and down the land. As it was, I found only one in a neighbouring parish.

Nevertheless, this is one of my favourite local spots. Away from the centre of the village, it is disconnected from the bustling traffic and noises of busy lives. I don't get here very often, but I left the office at a reasonable hour for a change and headed here for a short while. My blackberry buzzed in my pocket three times while I was there, but as I recorded in the visitor's book, my visit was for 'Quiet time and visiting Grandparents'. I hope you like it.
