Bad timing

We had safety gates top and bottom of the stair in the house. We didn't have a banister on the side. It looked cool but when the gates came down it wasn't safe for a toddler to be going up and down on.

Got my mate to build me a banister (I'll dabble in DIY but not to this extent). They had to build it in a freezing house though cos my dodgy boiler finally passed away yesterday. Gutted. I'd have cancelled the banister if I had a crystal ball on that one!

Oh for a disposable income.
