Back to the Amazon

This weekend I have done very little, reading, relaxing, lazing. But inspired by the artwave festival last weekend I have returned to my long term drawing of the black water of the Amazon, an A2 sized representation that consumes pencils like they're going out of fashion.

i started again in the representation of a black tree growing out of black water in 6 grades of graphite - and the white of the board on which it is drawn - and hope to have a surge of inspiration that will complete it within a few months...
