noddy land
I really do love the way she sleeps. Now and again I catch the early bird and I'm lucky enough to wake before her, although it's seldom a luxury I experience because usually I'm a bugger for my sleep in the mornings.
Sometimes I just watch her slumber: I look at her face, drawing patterns with my fingertips to encourage a sleeping smile. Other times I get a bit mischievous and try to induce a bit of 'dream mumbling' - it's a game we both like to play and one which never fails to make us laugh. You should try it sometime - it makes for a comedy start to the day and best of all it's free.
Most of the time though I just look at her and thank my lucky stars that she wanted to spend the rest of her waking hours with me.
