North to Karonga

Wells in Karonga
Up at 4am to travel the long haul north where we have now installed in excess of 50 wells. It was hot, hot, hot, hitting over 39 at one stage. This area is flat, and bone dry and close to the Tanzanian border.
I felt this was the most amazing pic of the day. Two women building the most intriguing mud house with a skeleton of poles and bamboo, when the thatch roof is on it extend to protect the mud walls!
