sarangkot, part two
Yesterday we hiked to the top of a nearby hill called Sarangkot in Pokhara, Nepal. The hill is known for its spectacular views to the Annapurna range of Himalayan mountains. We decided to spend the night there to catch both the sunset and sunrise, both of which were well worth the stay in a moldy room.
This shot is taken just after the sun had risen with the first rays of light hitting the buildings on top of the hill and the mountaintops. See yesterday's backblip for an evening scenery from Sarangkot.
Oh, and for the actual mountain views, see Eccu's blip.
