Snowed in

5" fell in about 3 hrs from 8am

Then they shut the schools and 2 boys appeared home and helped shovel said snow

Then a neighbour who is a blacksmith came home with a snowplow he had fashioned for another neighbours land-rover and loads of neighbours came out with spades and cleared the whole street - it was great fun and hopeful now we will be able to get out the street, although the council have not got their snowplows out so the main roads are still awful!

So we are snowed in and taximan eventually manged to get home who knows what tomorrow will bring
