alien invasion

I looked out the window to the minus 7c garden this morning and thought that there had been a bit of an alien invasion. The cotoneaster which normally blends in with the rhododendrons really stood out as being spindly and all over the place. I'd had many many more bushes there and this wee one was just growing up in between to get the light where it could. It survived the bush clearing of last autumn though!

When there's a thaw, maybe I'll cut it back a bit!
