Across the (very short) "long Walk"

More snow this evening. The Elfstedentocht media frenzy started today. Tomorrow I'm going to get my skates on and head out to Giethoorn for some skating.

When you walk from the orchard to the vineyard, you cross the long walk. This capture shows I've just begun a few years ago. The beech hedges have only been planted in 2008. The beech arches have yet to grow. For now they're just virtual as the metal supports suggest
