Evie's Builds another Bear!

Evie was 6 today - she's already carving her own traditions. Third year in a row that we've gone to the Build a Bear Workshop in Manchester for her to get a new teddy.

She loved it - choose a bunny and named her Coco - they staff made a fuss of her because it was her birthday which was lovely.

It was a stressful trip as the trains were on strike, and I got annoyed this morning because the other person I thought loved her as much as me didn't bother to ring her till very late and I had to deal with the questions from the birthday girl as to why he didn't :(

So that made me sad - but I realise that I can't affect how people act now...just be the best mum I can for her.

She's had a wonderful day - I love my big 6 year old!
