Happy New

YBear!

Son Two had his first trip to A & E this evening :-( As TPD put it, he failed to make the corner into the bathroom and hit the barrier on the outside of the bend (aka the doorframe). Square between the eyes. He has a lovely big bruise and egg-shaped lump from the bridge of his nose to his hairline, poor chap. One consolation (aside from the fact that from first phone call to NHS Direct to return home from hospital was a whisker under 2 hours) was this lovely teddy bear, donated by the TLC Appeal. Fantastic idea, and much appreciated by our boy :-)

Had to laugh though when the lady from NHS Direct asked if he was at all confused or wobbly - as TPD said "He's 14 months old - he's always like that!"

Other than that we've had a lovely lazy family day, watching films and playing on the Wii together. Happy New Year to you all!
