what have we started?

So this is the state of the hallway wall that we uncovered at the weekend. The wallpaper we inherited was pretty dire so I have been aching to get rid but as it came off so did the plaster - lovely.

The kids reaction has been - "ohhh such pretty colours and great we can now graffiti it" - which they have proceeded to do. Such useful creatures they are.

Since the woodwork around our new front door has not been painted yet and that was put in 13 months ago it is probably safe to say that my daily blips won't be a progress report of what we 'have done next' - check in again in 2012 - maybe!

PS: I didn't crop this blip which must be a first - as it is usually the one thing I always do and obviously so unusual that I felt the need to make a note!
