Grains of Sand

I found sand in my back pocket from our day at the beach at the weekend. It's a wonderful feeling, a physical link to play-time when you're stuck at work.

I had a quick look at the grains of sand under the microscope in the lab and was amazed by the variety.


The sand is from Tentsmuir beach, Fife
