Meet Nick, the lovely man who, along with Shaun, laid our new landing and stair carpet this morning.

My second attempt at blipping a "stranger" (1st attempt - Mike - here) and boy was he a tricky subject!

Being a man committed to his work - and not slicing his fingers with the incredibly sharp knives they have - he was super speedy and I had to take my chance when I could. It was a case of the "please can you just look at me for 1 second?" shot.

Not only is he a very good carpet fitter, but he's also the owner of 6 chihuahua's!

Our toes are now in toe heaven having not had a carpet for the last 3 months.
