Cranes Going Back Home

I quite like the confused nature of these cranes - reminds me of the Eddie Izzard sketch about migrating birds "who's leading today?" "Steve the bird" "Oh no, he's rubbish" - and there's certainly an element of rubbish organisation going on here. Still, it's another sign that spring is nearly here.

Not much else to report today other than I had a marvellous breakfast - it included a fabulous bacon & bratwurst baguette that even now brings a smile to my face. Other than that I've been pootling around mainly in response to the cat coming in and going out and never closing the door.

It's been a lovely day and complemented by a few Spekalatius (kind of a sweet spicy biscuit) that my local supermarket were giving away. Hooray for Lazy Saturdays.
