where sheep and seagulls graze

I can’t imagine many cities that have sheep grazing just a few hundred metres from where people are shopping (and grazing).

Every Spring Milton Keynes Parks Trust let sheep onto the grasslands next to the shopping centre.  It makes a pleasant change from concrete cows.

The building in the centre of frame is the theatre and the sloping building on the left is the indoor ski dome.  Shops are on the far right.

We walked from the bottom end of this park up to the shopping centre - stopping just long enough for a nifty hot chocky in Caffe Nero - then a walk back down the hill to the car.

It was ‘bracing’ and any cobwebs that may have been lurking are long gone.
