At Last
This morning I headed into Police Headquarters to make a formal complaint regarding the was the assault on me has been handled.
After nearly 2 weeks nobody has been in touch and despite phone calls and visits to Livingston Police Station not even the Inspector has called (even though I made it clear I wished to make a formal complaint). A shame even he can ignore Force instructions regarding the handling of complaints.
I then had to take Mother a check up by the doctors at what used to be the Northern General in (not so ) sunny Leith. That is where I took the slightly unusual skyline.
Despite what she thinks - my mother is not on the way out.
When I got home there was a message on the machine from an Inspector saying that because he couldn't contact me - he is passing on the enquiry to the night shift Inspector. The call was at timed at 3.45pm. He didn't try very hard did he? Only another 6 hours of his shift to try.
I was cheered up a bit when I saw that we finally have a flower on the pond though. Just a shame I had to shoot it in the rain ................ ahh well!
