Chilling out on the scales

I hope my little girl will always take such a chilled approach to her weight!

I'm doing a part time PhD with the eating disorders unit at the Institute of Psychiatry in London and it's made me really determined to do all I can to give young Lyra a healthy attitude to food. This has included giving up 15 years of vegetarianism as I want her to be willing to try everything and feel I should lead by example.

So Lyra's weight today was 11lb6oz. To me she is perfect but she's definitely not a typically shaped baby! She is currently lighter than 91% of babies her age but longer than 75% of them. Looks like she may have lucked out and got the slim genes from my family and the tall genes from my husband's family.
