Water of Leith

I have recently started a new job, and after working in a very fancy area of Edinburgh's New Town I now work in a very bizarre semi industrial semi residential area near Leith.

When I was offered the job, Cyclops was wary as he felt I wouldn't like being away from the town centre. However, I've so far found the strangeness of this new part of town to be appealing.

I've started posting blips a few days back, but my real intention is to use it as an excuse to walk around at lunchtime and get a bit of excercise whilst snapping the more interesting aspects of the locality.

Today I walked about five minutes down a road containing scrap metal merchants and timber yards, and saw a dodgy looking man coming up a dirt track behind a disused building. Having no realistic concept of risk, I headed up the track myself and this is what I found. I knew the Water of Leith ran nearby and had walked half an hour up it in the other direction after work one day, but it was a surprise to find this part where I did.
