Hotel & Horse

This is the Balmoral Hotel and the Iron Duke in bronze by Steele, on Princes Street (Edinburgh). Apparently. I had to look that up.

Went to Stirling today to speak to a guy about a project he runs. It was all very nice, but the train journey each way was about twice as long as usual due to engineering works. This was planned for in my itinerary, but still boring!

Was going to go to the shops on the way home (I have my eye on a new dress and it is calling to me), but sadly arrived back too late. Instead I went to the cinema and sorted out some opening weekend tickets for the new James Bond.
