Blaeberries

I think it must have been raining for the best part of the night.

Out with the dog for a walk and although it stayed dry with the odd bit of sun all the foliage was wet. The bluebells are now quite abundant and although I have taken numerous shots of them I have still to find one that I am happy with. Guess I still have some time before they fade. Would also be easier if I left the dog at home.

It looks like there will be a good crop of blaeberries this year. They grow wild in the forest and they are a fantastic pink colour at the moment. They will resemble blueberries come late July / August.

Unfortunately the dog is a typical terrier and would chase after every smell she picks up therefore I am reasonably happy with this as I was holding the dog lead in one hand at the time.
