The Deli ........

........ on One Street Main Street.

We attempted to take the dog for a walk this morning but the paths were treacherous underfoot.

I was hoping to add to my 'One Street' project today and this has surpassed anything I had hoped to shoot.

On our way home we decided to pop into the Deli and get hot rolls to take out. (Today they have a new filling, square sausage with black pudding stuffing. Delicious.) For walkers, cyclists, bikers etc. the Deli is fantastic. They do great hot rolls, pies, soup and drinks to take out. Encourages local laziness too.

I was waiting outside with the dog, talking to everyone through the doorway. I took a few shots and this was the best one. I think I have caught the friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

On the way back to the house we popped in to another of the shops and bought grips to put on the soles of our shoes. No excuses now. Should be able to walk on the ice without slipping and sliding.
