........... on One Street Main Street.

Another entry for my One Street project.

On our way back from a long dog walk I stopped to take this photo in the Main Street. Also got a peek inside (And managed a few photos). Lots of work still to be done following the flood in November. Looks like it wont be open until around April. It is strange not having the pub open. As well as a popular meeting place it also serves good , reasonably priced food.

Taking photos for this project has made me aware just how much the village was affected by the flood. The Main Street looks terrible just now. The sandbags are still lying around and some businesses look like they have not been open for a while, although at this time of year some only open at weekends.

Hopefully things will recover as in a few short months the tourists and outdoor enthusiasts arrive in earnest.
