More Portland murals. SW 12th at SW Washington.

Last week a local public mural project called Forest For The Trees held an event inviting some international artists to collaborate with some Portland artists to create some murals. The murals are only a week old, I had hoped to go and see some of them in process but it didn't happen. Instead, we had a mural treasure hunt today, I printed off the locations and we hopped in the car and went to see what we could find. We saw 8 out of the 11, 7 of them I photographed and you can see them here if you'd like. Mural 8 I didn't photograph but will go back when we go and see the other 3.

This wasn't the blip image I originally had in mind as I was taking pictures today but it made me laugh so I'm going with it. I was standing on SW 12th focusing on the mural when the two women in striped dresses noticed me, they slowed then saw mural and quickly whipped out their smart phones for a shot and were off again.
