Fun filled day

Today has been fun!

Out to Costco to find that today is one of 3 days in the year it is closed, but we managed to pick up all the BBQ goodness we required from Sainsbury's.
After a text out to friends to invite them round was fired out we got a couple of confirmations - enough to make it an event.
The BBQ is brilliant - I was complemented on my BBQ skills with all food turning out just right. The Nando's Peri Peri chicken was the best however as we'd let it marinade for a good 3 hours and once cooked it was sublime.

We also attended the new night for the Doctor's pub quiz. We did OK for a first night, but the scoring is now out of 100, rather than 50 - We came a respectable joint 3rd and we were especially proud of our music round only missing out on a track by the Bluetones and wrongly naming the Fat Boy Slim track played - 66 out of 100. The winning score being 82 odd.

We drove MrsCyclops home after having a mini-adventure on the way. Returning home via a chippy so that chips and gravy could be acquired.
