Lake Tekapo

Well I wrote a great long story about our fantastic day pushed the wrong button and lost the lot.
Rainie and her husband Doug, Katey and my self have had the most fantastic day we headed inland to view the amazing scenery following the huge snowfall of a week ago. Everywhere we looked was the most scintillating, breath taking landscape.
Went to lakes Alexandrina and Pukaki as well as Tekapo.
At Pukaki the trees were awesome just hanging with frozen snow.
This image is way up the side of Tekapo shot into the sun, my extras are the outlet to Lake Alexandrina and the tracery of the frozen branches at Pukaki.
On the way up we had the famous pies at Fairlie, nobody should drive through that town without sampling them. We then had a late picnic lunch at Pukaki which included Rainies awesome scones with strawberry jam.
So ended a fantastic day that will live imprinted within my soulforever
