Outing

Today I have been out....yay to that!!

Our local spinning, craft, natter (whatever cap fits) group had its end of year outing. Went to see two beautiful gardens then ending up at the Masonic Hotel, iconic art nouveau (I think) pub in a tiny town at St Andrews, just a few km south of the buzzing town of Timaru....yup, a true story.

Established in 1876, this wee beauty has recently been refurbished inside and out and it looks stunning...it has been redecorated very tastefully. We whiled away a couple of hours no trouble.!!! Notice the gaps on the wine shelf!!

Weekend again, the weeks are just flying by. Field trip down south tomorrow, the forcast isn't that flash so will see in the morning.

Late News, Mining explosion on our West Coast of the Sth Island late this afternoon, 35 men trapped and autorities have not had any contact with......just terrible and so so upsetting....we can only hope & pray.
