Shifting Sands
Had a bit of a lie in this morning and didn't get up until 8am.
A beautiful morning, blue skys, warm sun and no wind.
We decided to go for a walk before the pesky easterly came up.
Off into town, parked the car and walked the beach, over the cliffs and back along the board walk, just stunning and so enjoyable.
We had the beach to ourselves exceptfor a pair of Variable Oystercatchers and the odd seagull - pure bliss!
Then off to sit in the sun and enjoy a coffee whilst watching the world go by *sigh*
Some shopping then home.
Lawns and some gardening before a very late lunch - 3pm!!!
Now watching the Presidents Golf Tournament at Melbourne - the Internations aren't doing so good :(
I am going to load my 19 gb of Catlins images soon and start the deleting.
Its been and still is a lovely day.
Remembering the Pike River Coal Mine disaster today & all the families and friends who are mourning and missing their loved ones. One year on - the remains of the 29 miners have still not yet been recovered.
Rainie :)
