Fascinating.....

....or perhaps a Fascinator, sitting precarilously on my head. Amazingly, it managed to stay there all day, well until tonight when we ended up in a bar in town. We have been to the races at Orari today. And what a mighty fine day it has been, I am shattered in a very good way.

Its been our Christmas/end of year work doo. They really have it sorted out there, and cater for groups, each group having a smart marquee's with open fronts looking out to the track, all totally catered, beautiful food all day, drinks in chilly bins etc etc. The weather played the game as well. We have had a ball, all getting "dressed up" for the ocassion.....some became a little worse for wear as the day progressed, those we have left in the bar, it was time for the oldies to come home and put our feet up. I started with some rather high heels but resorted to my jandles after a few hours.

We had Secret Santa which is always a good laugh.

NZ went to the polls today to vote for government - it will be an interesting evening I think.

A great day was had by all.
