The Big Shift!!

Shifting day, up very early doing all sorts, stripping bed and rolling up, moving all bedroom stuff to lounge and a host of other chores.  Forcast bad!!!

Rob & Alice, Shery & Blair, Lynley, Shawn and Michael all arrived around 9am and from then on it was all go.  Those guys can move stuff.....all worked so hard, I was concerned for the "oldies" backs but they came through with flying colours.  Whilst all the heavy stuff was on the move, the lovely ladies worked tirelessly for hours, cleaning and washing where the furniture had come from, plus a hell of a lot more.

Doug & I are indebted to them all....special people, thank you.

The weather did hold off long enough thank goodness.....we couldn't stay in our new home, it became just too hard!!  We took up an offer (well a demand, thankfully) to stay at Rob & Alices, so much appreciated. Thanks again dups & R.

An exhausting day, one we were pleased when it was over.  Tomorrow is another day, worry about that in the morning.
