Superyacht

This little big sleek number cruised into Timaru Harbour around 7 pm tonight. Why little old Timaru - well it is reported that a Timaru Port pilot once worked on it.

Our Timaru Herald reported that when built this was the biggest superyacht ever built, that is at 2003. Called The Octopus, 126 metre, owned by Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen. Don't know if he was on board but can accommodate 26 guest and 57 crew. Has two helicopters, six smaller boats, and two submarines.
How obscene!!

Other news......its our 44th wedding anniversary today. Forty-four years ago it was raining and cool. And one of my bridesmaid had a miscarriage the night before but incredibly made it through the day and ending in hospital the next day, how stoic is that.
