Cabbage White

Our power went off for over 4 hours today, the second time in two days - instead of perhaps doing computer work I opened up my Book Club book and made a start  - Girl In Translation by Jean Kwok.  Enjoying it so far. 

And it rained - whoop whoop all of 2 mm !!!!!  Now its scorching hot again. 

 I went out in search of a flower for the Flower Friday Challenge, well I got a lavender but I also got the Cabbage White.  Heaps of them fluttering about, all looking very shabby at this time of their cycle..  

Only managed to get two that showed any detail.

Happy weekend everyone - I plan on a very quiet one, much needed.
