Cactus Week - Day 1
I have had this hen and chicks cactus plant for about 4 years, growing in my front window box. I love it mainly because it needs so little attention. A drop of water now and again, mixed with the sun it gets most of the day, is all it needs.
Now over the past few weeks, something strange started to happen. It has suddenly produced this huge flower stem. This is strange because this is the first time this has happened. I didn't even realise that this plant produced blooms. And in the last few weeks it has been changing, almost on a daily basis.
As such I have decided to use this as my blip subject for the week, because I am sure that in the next 5-7 days all the blooms are going to open and it will look quite different to how it does today.
