Friday 4 July 2008 : Close of day
Another busy day, but a good one. I sat for a while watching the sun set and despite how late it was, it was so warm outside. It was the kind of evening that goes hand in hand with a cold beer and the company of friends. Except it was just me and my thoughts. We go to the Highlands tomorrow and I can't wait - the weather looks promising and the children are excited. Already I envisage us on the beaches, looking for shells (cowries are my favourites) and flying the kite. For me it doesn't get much better than that.
Thinking of you M and sending much love X

Oh, SU, this is beautiful. Just the ticket when it's howling a gale outside and throwing it down. I can imagine being there. Bliss.Have a great time away and enjoy looking for shells. It's one of my much loved pastimes too. Canterbury's the kite flyer in the family. Cousteau just loves being with us. So all happy.
Take care.
