Today's the day ................. to go away to a conference

Travelled south today by train to Duxford, south of Cambridge to go to the annual conference of the Association of Independent Museums (or AIM for short). Amazingly, the quickest way to get there by rail is to go to London and then catch a train back north?!

The conference was to run over the next two days and the venue was the Imperial War Museum at Duxford. If this wasn't exciting enough - I was staying with friends, Gordon and Heather, in their beautiful 16th century house in the village.
