Lakeland snow

Today's the day ............................ to be on top of the world

What a beautiful day it's been today. The foggy mist of yesterday has disappeared leaving bright sunshine and the bluest of skies as a backdrop to the snowy Lakeland landscape.

The view from Scout Scar was breathtaking. A bit like being on top of Everest (I imagine!) but without the hard climb - and substitute Coniston Old Man and the Langdale Fells for the Himalayan peaks.

Ok - a bit of an exaggeration - but wonderful nevertheless ...................!
