Ok dear readers - this is it .....

Tomorrow I'm off at the crack of dawn to present myself at a well known Edinburgh hospital so that they can perform a second op in the series to turn me into a bionic woman. So it's nil by mouth after midnight - but before that, I am going out for dinner with some very special friends to this lovely place.

I may be gone a while - but I'll keep an eye on you all in the meantime................
