Today's the day ............................. to slip away

Will had planned it for ages as part of my recouperation programme - and I was only too happy to go along with it.

We went by train to Aberystwyth on the west coast of Wales where we picked up a hire car and drove south to Cardiganshire - or as it is known in welsh - Ceredigion. We were booked into a hotel for two nights and we had a couple of days to get to know this beautiful part of Wales a little better. It would involve walks on beaches, a lot of looking out to sea - and a fair amount of fine dining.

I was game for all of those .............................
