Today's the day ........................ to spend time with friends

These two lovely people also came by high speed train - from near Grenoble - to join us for the weekend in Paris.

It was a real treat to spend time with them and to have the benefit of their knowledge and insight into French history and culture. They are posing beside one of the fountains of the Place des Vosges, the oldest planned square in Paris, built by Henri IV from 1605 to 1612...................
