June again

Today's the day ........................ to trail about town

I think it would be unfair to leave you with yesterday's slightly wacky version of June - so here she is again in calmer mode.

Today I took her on a cultural tour of Kendal town - a visit to the oldest pub in Kendal, the Fleece Inn, down Finkle Street, Aynam Road and up to the Castle - along the River Kent and home. There was a lot to take in but she remained enthusiastic throughout - even when it started to rain.

Tonight we are having a showing of a (pretty old) VHS tape of Jane Austen's Emma. Her joy knows no bounds .........................
