Today's the day ..................... to scan

Now obviously I didn't actually take this picture today - but it did arrive on my phone, right in the middle of a shopping trip to Aldi.

It made me feel so excited that really I wanted to run up and down the aisles shouting that I had a picture of my first grandson/daughter - and would anyone like to see it?! Of course - there's a few months to go yet - but how wonderful that nowadays you get a scan picture like this one to keep. All of a sudden, it makes it all seem real.

So, this was by far and away the most exciting thing that happened to me today and I wanted to share it with you. Needless to say, I'll let you know how it all turns out ......................... !
