Papa and Tim

Today's the day ........................ for a slideshow

We've been reaping the rewards of Will's marathon task of sorting out the old slides. 

It's easy now to go and have a golden-oldie slideshow.  That's what we did this afternoon and this is one of the slides that we came across.  It's a picture of Tim and his Papa in their own little world making something - and it was taken in 1987 when Tim would have been about eight.  It just got me thinking that in six weeks or so Tim will be a father himself - and we will move up into the grandparent slot. 

It's all as it should be - but how nice to be able to look back and be reminded of how it was then.  My Dad, fit and healthy and so enjoying time spent with his grandson.  And Tim just starting out with his whole life ahead of him ........................
