Snowdrops

Today's the day ……………………….. for a white carpet

These snowdrops were looking so lovely today in the sunshine that I couldn't resist one last picture before they disappear for this year.

I don't think the plummeting temperatures and hard frosts we've had of late get much in the way of plant-life.  They just carry on growing and getting ready to flower.  Then as soon as there's a day like today when we reached the dizzy heights of 8 or 9 degrees C, it's as if nothing had happened at all.

Just as well, really …………………….
