Today's the day ...................... for SpringGrass

Our first time tonight at the annual SpringGrass Bluegrass Festival in Newton Stewart.

There was a special reason for going to the gig tonight in the marquee at the Vault Arts Centre because Alan and Louise Mairs were performing.  The other acts - Bristol based multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Hannah Powson and the fantastic Quick, a 3-piece ‘newgrass’ band currently based in Glasgow - were also great entertainment.

We enjoyed the evening very much - and tomorrow, Alan and Louise are coming to stay for a night ..................!
