MONO Monday
Through the window
Thanks to Rainie for hosting this challenge.
I thought of different scenarios all day. In the end the one I wanted to shoot the most was the worst.
See my laundry is in the corner of our basement.....ok it's a cellar. The window looks out through deep dark green ferns and to the undercarriage of the next door neighbor Susan's jeep. Add the atmospheric lint and a glint of dryer vent and certainly the ickiest one today.
Things this challenge taught me.
1) the windows in my
Dining room
Kitchen
Living room
Downstairs and upstairs bathrooms
And all 4 bedrooms are dirty.
2) the cellar windows are loaded with lint.
3) that there is such a thing as the right place at the right time
4) I say that because I watched my neighbor's Newfoundland CJ escape and run down Rt 9 at an impressive gallop. However more impressively I can out run him.
5) and again when her Clumber spaniel Beasley escaped 5 minutes later I was able to run up the cellar stairs go out and into oncoming traffic to haul her back home.
Sue said how did you get her to come to you? I said I asked her to come. She said "oh". Sue has a new boyfriend.
I suggested that they close the gate before they get lost in each other's eyes..... Just a thought.
6) and did you know, that dogs think it's a stupid game when you chase them. This would be why I have cats. All you have to say is here kitty want a greenie? And they come. Dogs? Not so much.
7) that Mia (my dad's cat) can shoot catnip mice down the cellar stairs just as quickly as I can bring them up to her....it was important to turn a 5 minute photography session into a 40 minute game of fetch.
(Guess which one of us did the actual fetching? And yes cats can laugh)
8) the next week of my life will be spent washing windows.
9) that an oatmeal cookie is really a cookie but I could convince anyone that it is a healthy snack.
Ok that has nothing to do with the challenge but, well, there is one in the cookie jar. And,
It's lonely. I can hear it.........and well
I should be going now..........
Until tomorrow!
Good night and g'day to down under.
