Tuesday 26 August 2008 : race against time...

when I started back from office, I saw some amazing clouds and colors in the sky - probably the best I have seen in a while. rang up a few friends to check whether anyone has a camera in office. no luck. then started the race against time and traffic - wanted to reach home to my beloved D80 as fast as possible. By the time I ran to my terrace, all the light was practically gone. So I had to contend myself with this long exposure shot. not exactly what I wanted.

It's always the same - spotting a great blip and not being quite ready - happens to me all the time. This is a great sky and silhouettes.

Lovely colours. I use a very nice macro lens for my closeups and have learned that if I come at a dragnfly from behind and move arund it slowly, I can get as close as I like if I don't disturb whatever its resting on.

great shot I was trying to take on of a similar scene when I got off work last night but I kinda gave up after I got a phone call. Beautiful!
